This week was all about summer stuff.  Pool.  Popsicles.  And, of course, stylin’ sunglasses.Kate is all about sunglasses.  This comes as no surprise to me, her accessory-loving  mother.  Start them early on styling and accessorizing, that’s what I always say.

Kate and I hosted playgroup last week, and since the weather’s been so nice here in Northern Virginia, we set up her pool and let the kids go at it.  This age (2 years+) is nice because we can let them play and stand back a few feet and chat as opposed to hovering over them lest them fall face first in one inch of water and proceed to flail about.When we weren’t hanging out in Kate’s pool, we ate popsicles.Kate quite figure out how to push up her freezy pop, which resulted in upteen temper tantrums until Dan devised this clothes pin popsicle-pusher upper.  He didn’t even use Pinterest to come up with this solution.  That’s the kind of service you get when you marry and engineer.
