sarah bagley's project life 2012

Well.  There’s a thief in my neighborhood.  And he or she is stealing my tomatoes, eating chunks out of the fruits of my labor, and leaving the remains in my front lawn to taunt me.

It’s on squirrel.

Belle is totally sleeping on the job.  This dog barks all the live long day but doesn’t scare away these thieving squirrels?  I’m going to reevaluate her pay.

I was able to scrounge up a few tomatoes to use in my chicken tostada recipe.  So squirrels: 3.  Sarah: 1.

On the other side of my layout, I stuck in pieces from my BlogHer’12 trip.

My mom and I went to see Nice Work if You Can Get It starring Matthew Broderick while I was at BlogHer.  I cut down the Playbill to 4 x 6 and popped it into a pocket.  Yes, it’s going the wrong way.  But if you’ve noticed anything about my paper projects, it’s that I’d rather them done than rather than perfect.

I added a few of the very few photos I took (That always seems to happen at these things; I’m too busy learning and listening and talking to take many pictures.), and I cut up my BlogHer agenda and added it to the bottom pockets.

If anyone knows how to keep squirrels out of tomato plants, I’m all ears.

I’ve read that if you hang red holiday ornaments in the plants, it’ll scare the animals away – I think either because they are shiny or because the animals will chip a tooth in the process. I have some of those red globe foil ornaments if you need them. Good luck!

Squirrels are relentless, good luck! Also, where do you get the pocket pages for this project? I’ve never used those for scrapping. I want to do a fast book of Kellan’s 2nd b-day.

Mr. HalfFull and I just saw Nice Work if You Can Get It yesterday in NYC! On our way into the theater, we saw Matthew Broderick out back chatting near the stage door.
