So this week was anything but boring.  Two big events: our beach trip and my first Les Mills Super Quarterly.

We started off the week with a trip to Duck, NC for a beach “vacation.”  I say “vacation” because, well, is anything really a “vacation” with a two-year-old?

I’m going to go with no.

But she does look cute in that suit.  More on our trip later this week, including the car ride (which was mostly better than last year, what Kate thought of the beach, traveling with a toddler, etc…)

We got home Thursday afternoon, regrouped Friday, and I took off for Baltimore Saturday for a Les Mills Super Quarterly event.

What’s a Quarterly?  An all day group exercise extravaganza.

I took seven classes, met my group fitness idols, and felt more inspired than I have in a long time.  Also, I can barely lift my arms to brush my teeth or wash my hair.

More about the beach and more on my first super quarterly event later this week.  Hopefully my arms will stop aching long enough to type.

Seven classes?! Ai ai ai! Sounds like a great (though exhausting) event, Sarah! Looking forward to hearing more tales from the beach trip.
