It was a Kate-tastic week.

A couple of months ago, I found out Kate’s favorite TV show – The Fresh Beat Band – was touring around the US and stopping at Wolftrap for a live-in-concert show.  Kate is crazy for The Fresh Beat Band, and I find it one of the only shows I can tolerate.

Good thing I hopped on those tickets because the show sold out in faster than you can say Kiki, Marina, Twist, and Shout.

Of course it was hotter than blazes that afternoon, but the show was worth it.  The actual Fresh Beats came and sang just about every song from the show, and Kate thought it was the best thing ever.

Okay.  Fine.  I sang all the songs, too.  I’m pretty sure I could be a Fresh Beat since I know all the words and dance moves.

To continue the end of summer fun, we headed over to the sprayground.  Kate is a fool for the sprayground.  She runs through it and sticks her face over the spout and tries to “catch the water.”

It was a riot.

Oh, you thought that all this activity tired her out?  Then you’d be wrong.

KATE’S EYES OPEN!

Three cheers for preschool starting next week.
