Kathleen is another blog friend I’ve been following since forever. We’ve have kids around the same age and enjoy similar hobbies, so I always look forward to reading her posts. I appreciate how genuine she is about the struggles of raising young children (hello, no sleep!), and I also love reading about how she pursues her creativity while also working and mothering.

In this episode Kathleen opens up about perfectionism and also shares her career journey. Kathleen works as an oncology nurse, so she talks about the rewarding and challenging parts of working with people with cancer diagnoses.

Please subscribe to the podcast in iTunes, and I’d love it if you’d take two minutes to rate and review the show.  Thank you!  I appreciate the support.

Sarah is a thiry-something wife to an engineer and mother of three. She loves teaching aerobic and cycling classes, learning to shoot with her DSLR in manual mode, and drinking coffee.

Hi, Sarah. I recently found you after Elise Joy posted about being on your show and I’m really enjoying going through some of your older podcasts. I was listening to this one today and couldn’t understand the title of the book recommended at the end (the one after Better Than Before). Thanks…

    • Hi Marjie! I’m so glad you like the show, and I’m glad you found it! I re-listened to the part you were talking about, and Kathleen and I didn’t offer a specific book, she just recommended finding out your Myers-Briggs personality type. There are lots of quizzes online to help you. Did that answer your question?
