I’m in the process of making over my closet.  I love a good purge.  And every so often I like to cull through my things, remove what doesn’t fit, and re-evaluate my style.  When I worked in an office, I was totally Ann Taylor Loft.  And I loved that look.  And I still love that look.  But that look doesn’t really work with my lifestyle.

I’m a half-the-time at-home mom, 20 hours a week working part time (at home and in casual environments), and teaching group fitness classes.  I need to be able to move from one “job” to the other while staying comfortable, stylish, and feeling put together.

So I’ve been test driving some different types of clothes, this sort of active-wear meets snappy-casual.  All the material are soft and move with my body while still giving me some shape.  I’ve been loving pieces from Athleta, Lululemon, and Reebok.  Here’s what I picked up:

Athleta:

+Illuminate Tee in dress blue and coral sunset

+Seeing Stripes Skirt in black and white stripes (out of stock)

+Shiva Top 3 in grey heather

+Shiva Tank 3 in black

Lululemon:

+The Every Yogi Tee in heathered cashew white/white

+Vinyasa scarf in black and white stripe

Reebok

+Studio Stripe Pants

Interesting video! You’re right, I totally think “gym clothes” when I hear Athleta and those are cute tops! I was wondering – how often do you replace your gym clothes? I’m pretty good about regularly changing out my shoes but I never think about replacing my gym clothes. I was reading an article recently that said it’s important to change out your athletic bras regularly but it didn’t go on to say what regularly meant for them. Haha!

cute! I’m kind of doing the same myself. What about the shirt you were wearing in the video? I really like the cut of that.
