I’m in awe of Sarah Ruiz. She’s amazing! She’s a NASA engineer, mom, wife, crafter, and blogger. We connected on our perfectionism beginning as students, working hard to get the perfect grades. Now as professionals and mothers we’re working to push past those tendencies and tap into our confidence.

And not only is Sarah an engineer, she’s also got this creative side. On her blog, she shares her crafting adventures, quilting, and her adorable daughter. I think a lot of us have this duality in our personalities – the pragmatic side and the more creative side. I love how Sarah dives into both sides of her personality.

Sarah and I chat about letting stuff go, being good moms and good employees, and keeping our minds open about what could be next.
