I’ve been an Amy Wilson fan for years. When her book, How Did I Get Like This? came out, I was a brand-new mom, and it was excactly the words I needed to hear at the exact time I needed to hear them. Since then I’ve followed Amy and her career from acting, writing, and now, podcasting!

In this episode, Amy and I chat about her career, evolving from acting to writing to podcasting as she grew her family. We talked about how our careers evolve as our role as parents evolves, pivoting from creative project to creative project, and staying creative as a mother.

Be sure to check out her podcast, What Fresh Hell: Laughing in the Face of Motherhood. It’s a hoot!
