In this second part of my episode with Rachel (here’s part I), we dive deeper into confidence and helping our kids develop resiliency. We speak specifically about girls, and how they lose confidence at a young age, why that is, and what we can do about it. Relatedly, we discuss the concept of worthiness and self esteem. Rachel also offers concrete scripts for balancing firmness and respect when it comes to correcting our kids.

We also touch on motivation, teaching kids to try their best, perfectionism, and helping our kids deal with discomfort.

We also mention Rachel’s Parenting Academy during our conversation. You can find out more about the Academy and how Rachel can support you here.
